I was camped on the beach in front of stacks of Dyrholaey in Iceland, waiting the passage of a storm with winds at 120 km / h. Suddenly the rain stopped and in a strange light gray, the rocks appeared to me in all their beauty emerging from the stormy sea. Immediately prepared the equipment, but the strong wind moving my camera on the tripod, only with the help of 2 friends i was able to take some pictures, this is the best.

Here I was in the north of the Myrdalsjokull glacier in Iceland, during one of the rare sunny moments of that trip. A fantastic bed of silt shaped by the flow of the melting glacier, stretched at my feet. Its soft brown color, beautifully contrasted with the blue sky and the black mountains in the background. After another wonderful day of backcountry driving in the Hoggar, I decided to stop for the night in an area called Tiouardiouine Aguermane.
This is a place slightly raised above the surrounding desert, where beautiful rock formations emerging from a sandy desert,
the view is really great, but getting there is not so easy, the sand is very soft and the ATVs coverups are guaranteed. The next morning I decided to take some pictures of these two stacks emerging from a sandy basin,
The light was wonderful
