In life it takes luck, that day I wanted to go to the Exit Glacier, but I remained 2 hours to photograph a small spring, returning to the car I came upon a stream that had recently dried up leaving the bottom of beautiful bronze metallic mud, the reflections was wonderful and this aspen leaf in autumn dress created an interesting contrast, I remained another hour to photograph this scene

I was on the ridge of a very high dune in the desert of Murzuq , the sun had just risen, but already lit up the orange sand with a very warm light, when I realized that a shaft of light penetrated through the depression on the ridge, created a stain orange light on the shadowed side of the dune that had a particular color magenta

This place is amazing, the light that penetrating from above can to illuminate the bottom of the canyon, bouncing off the shadow sides of the rocks, does assume to the shadows the same tones of the rocks: fantastic!

I was walking on a path to get a closer look of the Exit Glacier, the trail wound its way through the forest and at one point was interrupted by a small spring. The show was amazing, the water flowed very slowly and took a beautiful green color because of the reflection of the leaves of the forest above, the water looked like olive oil seemed thick, the stones were wet, color of the sky, a sunshine ray lit up the leaf stuck on the rock, was the final touch.

Inside this amazing canyon, the midday light penetrated perpendicularly and created effects similar to those I had experienced underwater, at the top the light was warm, but more deeply penetrated more was absorbed by the walls and it became more cold , the sandstone walls had incredible shades

In October of 2005, with some friends I was crossing the Libyc desert called Murzuq, the dunes were magnificent, and that morning the sky was clear. From the crest of a dune choice the previous afternoon, I waited for the sunrise, until the sand was painted in a wonderful orange, highlighting this particular profile that I photographed.

One thing that I really enjoy is to take photographs that the viewer without a proper explanation can not normally understand, this gives a good idea.
